A modern Italian pastry experience

When the Federico Family, newly arrived in Silicon Valley from Sicily, missed their favorite traditional desserts, they decided to open a high-end Italian pastry shop. They called on TOPA Architecture for their understanding of the industry and knowledge of the San Jose area. TOPA’s design translated Dolce Sicilia’s passion for traditionally handcrafted perfection into a modern retail restaurant experience. The space features a curved display case showcasing the pastries in the main dining area and a full Chef’s kitchen in the back. The store stands out in the downtown Willow Glen Area with vibrant colors, modern finishes, and a welcoming and accessible customer experience.
