An uplifting sanctuary renewal

The renovation at Christ the King doubled the sanctuary’s size and modernized the most sacred space of this 1980s church. The existing sanctuary needed to be bigger and brighter and expanded to include an underutilized area behind the altar. The redesign doubled the sanctuary’s size, and worked with Mexican stained glass artist Vitrales Ireineo in redirecting attention to the cross. The refreshed space was well received by the community, who loved the light and uplifting feel of the new space.
